As 'Nana' to my wonderful grandson Aidan, and 'NanaMari' to my amazing 'grand-nephew' Emmet, both of whom are 3 years old, I have the joy of watching them grow and learn something new each and every day.
As a 'Nana' I worry about all the technology that kids are bombarded with these days, and at an ever increasingly early age.
While there is no going back to 'the good old days' before TV and computers, I believe we can strive to reach a balance. One way to do this is to encourage our children's use of their imaginations and creativity, while at the same time providing a fun way for them to 'get off the couch' and increase their daily activity. Play capes help them do just that! Bring out the inner super-hero (or heroine!) in a fantastic kid you know. Play capes are for both girls and boys!
Every Kidzkape super-hero play cape is lovingly made to the highest standards. Each play cape is made with 100% cotton. Click on to the Fabric Gallery to choose the colourful fabrics, emblem shape and initial for a custom-made play cape that will reflect each child's personality. Wash play capes by hand in warm water and hang up to dry. Warm iron to remove any wrinkles.
Kidzkapes play capes are available in two sizes: 2-5 years and 5-7 years. The 2-5 year play cape measures 19" from neck to hem, and the 5-7 year play cape measures 21" from neck to hem. A velcro fastener provides easy neck closure. The cost of each play cape is *US$23.95, (this includes shipping and handling costs to addresses in Canada and the USA). I am blessed to be surrounded by happy, healthy children. And I am blessed to be able to sit at my sewing machine each day creating these wonderful play capes for all the little super-heroes (and heroines!) out there. As part of 'paying it forward' I am delighted to also create 'Komfikapes' play capes. For every 10 super-hero play capes sold, I will donate a Komfikape to the local children's hospital or women's shelter. Komfikapes are a little different from the regular play cape in that they are lined with soft, brushed cotton to better keep little super-heroes snuggly warm.
